MULTIPLE COUNTRIES: The REDU (Red Universitaria - "University Network") experience is a 2-3 month program that is targeted at individuals who want to assist REDU missionaries and get a personal experience in a short amount of time. The goal of the experience is that the individual would gain first hand exposure to university ministry in Latin America Caribbean region. The assignment will be facilitated in a highly hands-on training environment with both on-campus and practical classroom elements.
On the campus, the individuals will be heavily involved in the students’ lives, leadership development, doing weekly outreaches on campus, and helping with trainings around the country as well as ministry retreats and conferences. The classroom element will include these themes: University Missionary Qualities, Personal Competencies, Ministry Skill Competencies, Intellectual and Educational Competencies, Relating to the National Church, and Cultural Observances.
Qualifications: Servant heart, eagerness to learn, passion for university ministry, a desire to invest in personal relationships, and Spanish is helpful but not required.
