Continental Theological Seminary is located in one of the most beautiful cities of the World. Since 1959 CTS has trained thousands of men and women who serve in more than 70 nations as pastor, missionaries, evangelists, social workers, institutional chaplains, and a wide variet of other ministries. The mission of CTS is to be a center for highter educaiton providing theological studies in an international environment to men and women for Christian ministry in order to serve God and their fellow man.

We are needing a CTS Network Administrator who will offer administrative support and protection of the CTS information technology environment. Responsibilities include:

Upgrade, manage and configure Windows network for optimal performance and expansion - Backup network  - Secure network and wireless access and traffic -Maintain confidentiality of information - Maintain software licensing - Research, evaluate, and recommend software and hardware acquisition - Submit IT progress reports and budget proposals - Define strategies, direction, and plans - Write grant requests for funding when possible - Automate and streamline processes - Work with non-technical personnel to achieve best cost-effective outcomes - Establish and maintain network standards, policies, and procedures - Monitor and evaluate network performance, access, and usage - Supervise IT personnel - Keep current in technology innovation.

Qualifications:

B.S. or M.S. degree in an information technology area with at least two years experience that includes network administration, systems analysis, computer support, and telecommunications - Support for CTS mission, values, and goals - Highly ethical and professional standards - Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment - Experience in Windows server administration Experience in Google Workspace for Education - Experience with Windows computers, Mac OS, and network printers - Experience with Ubiquiti Unifi wifi systems - Experience with web development - Experience with video systems - Installation and configuration of a variety of hardware and software - Troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving skills - Verbal and written communication skills - Proven grant request writing culminating in successful grant acquisition - Independent work as well as with teams  - Ability to delegate, oversee, and supervise IT personnel.

Some knowledge of the French language is not required but is preferred.
